this was originally posed as a question to many friends through email - thought it was worthy of posting here:
Can good and evil be summed up in something as simple as good being the action of sacrificing for another and evil being the action of making others sacrifice for you??
Consider that good and all good acts could be defined as things given or sacrificed by you for anothers gain. Evil and evil acts could be defined as actions performed for (taken by) you thru anothers actions of giving (sacrificing) for your gain. Can good and evil be considered this simply??
What would you consider as being good and evil? Can you come up with a simple explanation of what constitutes Good and Evil? Is Good and Evil such a complex mechanism that it can not be summed up in a couple of simple sentences?
Or, is it all in the Eye of the Beholder???????????
